Fan Photo Submission: Jerry West

Jerry West is one of the best players in NBA history. The 14-time All-Star played for the Lakers from 1960-1974, making the All-NBA First Team 10 times, amid winning the 1972 NBA title. The man whose silhouette is replicated on the NBA logo is also considered one of the best general mangers and smartest basketball minds of all-time. His great moves as a GM helped lead the Lakers to 6 championships from 1980-2000. West also deserves credit for building most of the '01 and '02 championship rosters, even though he was no longer in the position.
West later won NBA Executive of the Year, while serving as the general manager of the Grizzlies in 2004. Currently, West is a consultant for the Western Conference champion Warriors, while also owning a minority stake in the team.
Simply stated, West wins wherever he goes.
