Fan Photo Submission: Shawn Marion

An iFolloSports.com reader provides this photo with former NBA star Shawn Marion. The picture was taken at a recent corporate event held at a Morton's The Steakhouse in Chicago.
The 38-year-old Marion played 16 NBA seasons, the first nine of which with the Phoenix Suns. Phoenix drafted the UNLV alum with the ninth pick in the 1999 draft. Marion’s days in the desert ended in February of 2008, when he was traded to the Miami Heat for Shaquille O’Neal. After a brief stop in Toronto, the Chicago area native landed in Dallas, where he was an integral member of the Mavericks 2011 NBA championship team. The four-time All-Star finished his career with LeBron James and the Cavs, hanging it up after losing to the Warriors in the 2015 NBA Finals.
All told, Marion averaged 15.2 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game, during his outstanding tenure of NBA basketball.
These days, Marion is spending his retirement between homes in the Chicago and Dallas areas.
