Gregg Popovich Still Loves The NBA Coaching Lifestyle (Video)
Monday night, the San Antonio Spurs take on the Golden State Warriors, in Game 2 of their opening round Western Conference playoff matchup. During Saturday’s Game 1, the defending champions throttled San Antonio, 113-92.
Amid the franchise’s extended stay in the Bay Area, the Spurs are calling the Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco home. The luxury property sits right off Market Street, in the heart of downtown San Francisco, 13 miles across the Bay Bridge from Oakland’s Oracle Arena.
During Sunday’s off day, legendary Spurs coach Gregg Popovich was asked if he still finds enjoyment in the unique line of work that he has chosen for himself.
The below video showcases a very in character Popovich answering the question, while referencing charter air travel, life at the Four Seasons and the great San Francisco restaurant scene.
Yesterday Pop walked into his press conference and said "I'm tired of this."
Today @mikefinger asked Pop: "are you still finding some sense of enjoyment out of this even when you lose even when things aren't going great?"
