Thursday night, the Rockets take on the Lakers at Staples Center.

This season, Harden’s production has decreased slightly, amid a very disappointing early season start for his team. Thus far, the LA area native is averaging 27.4 points per game, 2 points less than last season’s total. In fact, the 26-year-old’s rebounds, assists, field goal percentage and three-point percentage are all down a bit from his 2014-15 output.

Entering Thursday, Houston is a disappointing 12-14, with recent reports noting a potential rift between Harden and big man teammate Dwight Howard.
