Julius Randle Signing Autographs In LA (Photo)

Last week, the Los Angeles Lakers selected University of Kentucky freshman power forward Julius Randle, with the seventh pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. Last season, the Dallas native was a First Team All-SEC selection, averaging 15 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, helping lead the Wildcats to the NCAA Championship game.

Randle joins a Lakers franchise coming off a dreadful 27-55 season, their worst since moving to Los Angeles in 1960. The historic team has had so many great players over the years, having won a remarkable 16 NBA titles. As a result, right now, LA is in a position that the organization and their fans are simply not used to being in. Randle was the Lakers highest draft pick since they selected Hall of Famer James Worthy No.1 overall in 1982.

Monday, shortly after the conclusion of Randle's introductory Lakers press conference, the lefty big man was seen signing autographs outside the Toyota Sports Center, the Lakers' El Segundo (CA) practice facility.
