Justin Verlander Goes All Out In His Support Of The Rockets (Video)

Last November, the Houston Astros locked up their first-ever World Series championship, after defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers in a thrilling seven-game series.

Fast-forward six months and now it is the top seeded Houston Rockets seeking their first title since 1995, with the club getting set to kick off a highly anticipated Western Conference Finals battle with the defending champion Golden State Warriors.

In an ongoing sign of unity amongst the sports franchises of the “Space City,” several members of the Astros arrived to Minute Maid Park, for their Sunday afternoon game against the Rangers, adorned in Rockets gear.

Per the below video, perhaps the most enthusiastic effort came from star pitcher Justin Verlander, who arrived to the park wearing a Rockets jersey, while carrying both a basketball and gym bag.

Minute Maid Park sits 0.5 miles north of the Toyota Center, the Rockets’ 18,000-seat home arena.
