Jusuf Nurkic Is A Great Player On A Great Portland Team (Photo)

Lance Martinez of My Detroit Sports sent along this original photo of Trail Blazers big man Jusuf Nurkic, during a Portland road trip at the Pistons new venue, Little Caesars Arena, in midtown Detroit.

Nurkic is in his fifth NBA season. The 23-year-old was originally drafted by the Bulls in the first round of the 2014 NBA Draft, but was later sent to Denver, courtesy of a draft day trade.

For his career, the Bosnia Herzegovina native has averaged 10.2 points and 7.1 rebounds a game.

This season, the seven-footer is scoring 14.1 points and grabbing 8.6 rebounds per contest, for the surging 44-26 Blazers, who currently sit third in the Western Conference.
