The event was held at the SoHo Building, which sits 0.9 miles north of both Target Center (Wolves home arena) and the adjacent Courts at Mayo Clinic Square (Wolves practice facility).

Organized by The Gorgui Dieng Foundation and MATTER, the focus of the gathering involved raising money and awareness to help improve the lives of children in Dieng’s native Senegal.

Now in his fifth season in Minnesota, the 28-year-old Dieng has averaged 8.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game, after being drafted in the first round of the 2013 draft, out of Louisville.
