Karl-Anthony Towns Behind The Scenes During Super Bowl Week (Video)

Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns recently debuted a YouTube series titled “KAT’s Vlog Series.” In the most recent installment, Towns showcases how he spent Super Bowl week in Minneapolis, leading up to watching his beloved Eagles take home the world championship.

The piece shows Towns partying with rapper G-Eazy at a Super Bowl week event, attending the official tailgate at the Minneapolis Convention Center, followed by a look at his experience inside U.S. Bank Stadium, including spending time as a game photographer.

Towns grew up in Piscataway, New Jersey, roughly 35 miles from MetLife Stadium (home of the Giants and Jets) and roughly 65 miles from Lincoln Financial Field, the home venue of the Eagles. Despite living closer to the New York NFL teams, Towns became a diehard Eagles fan in the early 2000’s, during the Donovan McNabb/Andy Reid days.
