Karl-Anthony Towns Signing Autographs (Video)
During the course of the last college basketball season, there was some debate whether Duke and now 76ers center Jahlil Okafor or Kentucky center Karl-Anthony Towns would be the top pick in June's NBA Draft. Many people leaned toward Okafor, until the NCAA Tournament and the months that followed, when Towns' workout performances displayed his incredible versatility and athleticism. Towns then became the consensus top selection, with the Timberwolves drafting him, upon winning May's draft lottery.
Wednesday night, the Timberwolves held their second annual summer showcase at their home arena, Target Center, in downtown Minneapolis. An estimated crowd of more than 15,000 people was in attendance. The event featured warm up and dunking exhibitions, followed by a scrimmage. Some of the notable players involved included Towns, Tyus Jones, Zach LaVine and 2015 Rookie of the Year Andrew Wiggins.
iFolloSports.com was on hand for the festivities and captured the above original video of Towns signing autographs, after the game had ended. In the contest, Towns did not disappoint, scoring 24 points and grabbing 15 rebounds.
