Kevin Durant's Rep Grows By The Minute (Video)

Oklahoma City Thunder superstar forward Kevin Durant is one of the very best basketball players on the planet, while being quite possibly the most friendly and approachable. Durant's efforts with hoops fans was on full display once again Monday, when he provided every interested fan with an autograph outside of Santa Monica's (CA) Casa Del Mar, OKC's beachfront lodging destination during their trip to Los Angeles to take on the Clippers.

Per the above original video, the two-time NBA scoring champ walked right over to the roped off gathering, void of any hesitation. Durant appears to subscribe to the philosophy that one minute of his time is worth a lifetime of positive feeling from fans throughout every NBA city.

A couple months prior to this piece of video, the leader of the team fighting for the West's best record stopped to pose for a photo with me, as the Thunder were walking down Pico Avenue in Santa Monica, after leaving morning shootaround at nearby Santa Monica High School.

Durant has also provided fans with ample time during an LA summer league game last summer and outside of a Minneapolis hotel last season.

Monday was far from an isolated display.

Coming off of last season's Western Conference Finals appearance, versus the eventual world champion Dallas Mavericks, the OKC team appears to be in great position to represent the conference in the Finals this season, with an excellent opportunity to actually win the whole thing.

Interestingly, Durant was one of only a couple players to leave on the team's first charter bus at 4:00 Pacific time on Monday. So, in the span of a couple minutes, Durant showed his loyal fans a high level of courtesy, followed by showing a high level of dedication to his team by heading to Staples Center so much earlier than the majority of his teammates.

We have said it before, but it is worth mentioning one more time. The fans of Oklahoma are incredibly lucky to have a man of Kevin Durant's classiness and devotion, both on and off the court.

The Thunder have truly struck gold!
