Kevin Martin's Day Ends On Delta Flight To FLA

Last month, the Minnesota Timberwolves acquired shooting guard Kevin Martin, in a sign and trade deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The trade also involved the Milwaukee Bucks. The Timberwolves subsequently signed the career 17.8 points per game scorer to a four-year contract, worth $28 million.

Since becoming a member of the Timberwolves, Martin has already proven beneficial, as it was reported that he reached out to rookie Shabazz Muhammad, after the UCLA first round pick was sent home from the NBA rookie transition seminar, after violating the rule prohibiting female guests from spending time in a player's hotel room.

Monday, Martin finally had his introductory Timberwolves press conference. After its conclusion, the Ohio native signed numerous basketballs for the Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation.

Later in the day, an iFolloSports.com source spotted Martin on a Delta Airlines flight from Minneapolis to Tampa, Florida. In the offseason, Martin works out in the Tampa Bay area with new Minnesota teammate, recently reacquired small forward Corey Brewer.
