Kobe Bryant High School Point Guard Videos Last Game In Philly
Earlier this week, as news broke regarding the retirement of Kobe Bryant, iFolloSports.com brought back an article and accompanying original photo featuring Kobe from back in his high school days. The story was submitted by Evan Monsky, the man who just so happened to be Kobe’s point guard at Lower Merion High School in suburban Philadelphia. Monsky is the guy on the far right of the photo.
These days, Mr. Monsky (who in full discloser is a college classmate of mine) blogs for CSNPhilly.com’s “The 700 Level,” under the moniker of The Evster.
This week, in conjunction with Kobe’s and LA’s visit to Philadelphia, The Evster and his microphone took part in a hilarious piece that involves conversations with Kobe’s current Laker teammates, former Lower Merion teammates and the man of the hour Mr. Bryant. The package provides Kobe fans with an incredibly unique look at one of the greatest players in NBA history. It is really worth a watch.
