Lakers Great James Worthy Spotted At LA Pharmacy

Monday, Los Angeles Lakers hall of famer James Worthy was spotted at a CVS Pharmacy in the Brentwood neighborhood of West LA.

Ironically, another Lakers hall of famer, Elgin Baylor, was seen at the very same CVS, back in 2015.

The 55-year-old Worthy played 12 seasons with the Lakers, winning three NBA titles, while appearing in seven all-star games. Worthy averaged 17.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, during the regular season and an outstanding 21.1 points per contest, in postseason play.

As a result of his many accomplishments, Worthy’s famous number 42 jersey was retired by the Lakers.

Prior to arriving in Southern California, the North Carolina native was an integral member of UNC’s 1982 national championship team, amid a star-studded group that included a guy named Michael Jordan.

These days, Worthy works as a Lakers studio analyst for Spectrum Sportsnet.
