The Lakers See Your “Big Three” & Raise You A “Big Four”

Lakers Big FourLast season, the Los Angeles Lakers finished a disappointing (for their standards) third in the Western Conference, before losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder, in the second round of the playoffs.

During this past offseason, the Lakers drastically improved their roster, when acquiring both Steve Nash and Dwight Howard, who will join a starting lineup that already includes NBA legend Kobe Bryant and four-time All-Star Pau Gasol.

LA now possesses a “Big Four,” to matchup with the 2012 NBA champion Miami Heat, and their “Big Three” of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, as well as the Thunder's “Big Three” of Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden.

The Lakers are looking to win their seventeenth NBA Championship, which would tie them for the most in NBA history with Boston Celtics.

Whatever winds up happening in 2012-13, it will certainly be a very entertaining next few months in where else but Tinseltown.
