Shortly before DeMarcus Cousins signed autographs at the Las Vegas Summer League, Cousins was part of a photo that included Kings owner Vivek Ranadivé, along with recent free agent signings Rajon Rondo, Caron Butler, Marco Belinelli, Kosta Koufos and Omri Casspi.

Conspicuously missing from the above scene is coach George Karl. Karl spent most of the Kings game seated on the other side of the court, near Ranadivé, despite the owner's reported thoughts of dismissing Karl, due to his treatment of Cousins, Sacramento's centerpiece.
