Dallas Mavericks superstar forward Dirk Nowitzki is playing at an all-time level during the Mavs incredible run to the 2011 NBA Finals. The undisputed greatest player in Dallas basketball history has most certainly joined the upper echelon of North Texas sports royalty, after leading his team to its second-ever championship series. The 10-time All-Star and future Hall of Famer is living large on and off the Big D hardwood.

In 2008, Nowitzki purchased an $8 million home in the prestigious Dallas neighborhood of Preston Hollow. Located eight miles north of American Airlines Center, this very ritzy section of North Dallas is home to Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, Dallas Cowboys legend Roger Staubach, billionaire energy tycoon T. Boone Pickens, billionaire businessman and former presidential candidate H. Ross Perot and former President George W. Bush.
