Lottery Pick Kris Dunn Signing Autographs (Video)
Above is iFolloSports.com original video of Timberwolves rookie point guard Kris Dunn signing autographs at a Minneapolis McDonald’s. Dunn, a Providence alum, was the fifth pick in this past June's draft.
Dunn is the rare current day lottery pick that went to school for all four years of eligibility. During his time at Providence, the Connecticut native averaged 12.8 points and 5.8 assists a game, with a 16.4 points per contest mark, during his senior season. Dunn was named Big East Player of the Year in each of his last two years of college.
With the Timberwolves young talent and new coaching/front office regime, many people speculate that Dunn will succeed longtime point guard Ricky Rubio, as early as this season. Several NBA pundits believe that Dunn could win rookie of the year honors.
