This season, the 7’0 center is averaging 13.2 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for the 16-21 Magic. The 26-year-old’s best scoring seasons came in 2014-15 and 2015-16, when he tallied impressive marks of 19.3 points and 18.2 points respectively.
After spending his rookie season in Philadelphia (76ers chose him in the first round of the 2011 draft), Vučević was traded to Orlando in 2012, as part of the mega four-team deal that sent Dwight Howard to the Lakers, Andrew Bynum to the 76ers, with Andre Iguodala and Arron Afflalo relocated to the Nuggets.
In 2014, Vučević signed a four-year/$53 million extension with Orlando.
Vučević spent much of his youth in Switzerland and Belgium, before attending high school in suburban Los Angeles. He would later play his college ball locally at USC, averaging 17.1 points per game in his third and final season with the Trojans.
