Two days after Kevin Durant shocked the world by departing the Thunder for Golden State, Dwyane Wade provided yet another seismic event upon his decision to leave the Heat and sign with his hometown Bulls.  Wade exits Miami for a two-year/$47 million deal with Chicago.

ESPN Miami based personality Dan Le Batard provides his perspective on the events that led to Wade’s departure, as well as the impact this transaction has on the Heat organization and South Florida sports fan.

Prior to Wednesday, Wade had spent his entire 13-year career with the Heat, where he won three NBA championships.
