Miami's Missing Piece Leaving Team Hotel (Video)

Shane Battier is in his eleventh NBA season. The Birmingham, Michigan native is perhaps best known for his days at Duke, where he helped lead the Blue Devils to two Final Fours. In 2001, Battier won both the Wooden and the Naismith Player of the Year awards, while helping Duke to a national championship.

Battier has put together a solid NBA career, playing for the Grizzlies and Rockets. The renowned defensive specialist signed a free agent contract with the Heat during this shortened offseason and many people think he could be the missing piece the Heat lacked last season, as he brings excellent fundamentals and tough, gritty play to a very star studded team.

This original video shows a well dressed Battier boarding the Heat bus outside of the Graves 601 Hotel in downtown Minneapolis last Friday. The clip took place a few hours before the Heats' 103-100 victory over the Timberwolves.
