Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Signing In MPLS (Video)

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is a rookie forward for the Charlotte Bobcats. Kidd-Gilchrist, a Camden, New Jersey native, was the second pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, out of Kentucky, fresh off the Wildcats' national championship run.

Kidd-Gilchrist is trying to improve a Bobcats team that won only seven games, during last season's 66-game shortened campaign, establishing the worst single season winning percentage in NBA history.

Early in his first season, Kidd-Gilchrist is averaging 11.1 points and 6.9 rebounds a game, while helping the Bobcats to a 4-3 record thus far.

Winning the national championship at Kentucky and being the second overall pick, has made the 6-7 scorer a widely known player amongst both college hoops and NBA fans.

Wednesday night, per the above iFolloSports.com original video, Kidd-Gilchrist stopped to sign autographs, outside of the Graves 601 Hotel, in downtown Minneapolis. This clip was taken a few hours before the Bobcats beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 89-87. In the game, Kidd-Gilchrist scored two points, while grabbing two rebounds.
