Mr. Big Shot” Signing Some Autographs (Video)

Amazingly, Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chauncey Billups is already in his 16th NBA season. The Clippers stand as Billups' seventh team, with his most prominent years occurring during his days with the Detroit Pistons (2002-2009).  While in the Motor City, Billups was instrumental in the Pistons upset of the heavily favored Los Angeles Lakers, in the 2004 NBA Finals. After the five-game shocker, Billups was named series MVP. All told, Billups was the cornerstone of a Detroit squad that played in six consecutive Eastern Conference Finals, as well as two NBA Finals.

The Denver native brings a veteran presence and five All-Star appearances to the young, yet prominent Clippers team. For his career, the Colorado alum has averaged 15.5 points and 5.5 assists per game. Though injuries have very much limited the 36-year-old guard, over the past few seasons, a man with his big game experience could serve as an outstanding asset during a Clippers playoff run.

Billups' numerous career accomplishments have made him a very well known player amongst NBA fans. Above is iFolloSports.com original video of Billups signing autographs at the Target Center in Minneapolis. This clip was taken shortly before the Clippers 90-77 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Thursday night on TNT. Billups spent two seasons with the Timberwolves (2000-2002), so he definitely found himself in familiar territory.
