Playing in only his third season, New Orleans Pelicans big man Anthony Davis is already considered by many to be the best center in the NBA. With one game remaining in the regular season, Davis is averaging 24.3 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game, for a 44-37 New Orleans team that is currently tied for eighth in the West.

After winning the 2012 national championship, as a member of the Kentucky Wildcats, the Chicago native was the first overall selection in that year's June draft. Since arriving in the Big Easy, Davis has seen his stats improve in every season, with his efforts this campaign placing his team on the cusp of the postseason. Simply stated, Davis in on the fast track to NBA superstardom.
