New Rocket Chris Paul Lands A Massive Houston Area Mansion (Photos)
Last June, future hall of fame point guard Chris Paul ended his six-year run with the Los Angeles Clippers, when the now 32-year-old was traded to the Houston Rockets, as part of a blockbuster seven for one deal, that also included a first round pick and cash considerations. Of the seven players sent from Houston to LA, Lou Williams, Patrick Beverley, Montrezl Harrell and Sam Dekker still remain with the team.
With Paul 55 games into his first season in Houston (missed 17 games with a knee injury) the nine-time All-Star recently purchased a pretty sweet piece of South Texas real estate.
Below are a series of photos chronicling Paul’s newly built 18,717-square-foot palace.
Located in the north Houston suburb of The Woodlands, just off the 15th hole of The Club at Carlton Woods: Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, the Paul abode features nine bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, a modern kitchen, library, media room, game room, swimming pool and guest quarters.
The brand new mansion sits on 1.67 acres of secluded land.
Paul’s new residence is found 38 miles north of the Toyota Center (Rockets downtown Houston game and practice venue), seven miles west of The Woodlands commercial center and 43 miles north of James Harden’s Houston pad, located on the grounds of the Royal Oaks Country Club.
