The Nuggets Celebrate Playoff Berth With Water Party | Video
Monday night, the Denver Nuggets clinched their first playoff appearance since 2013, after knocking off the Celtics 114-105, at downtown Boston’s TD Garden. The much-improved Nuggets enter Tuesday at 47-22, which places the team in a tie with the Warriors for the top spot in the Western Conference.
Per the below video, in the minutes after the game’s conclusion, Denver head coach Michael Malone led his team in a locker-room celebration, with Malone preaching that the club still has many more goals to reach. As a result, the party involved pouring water on one another, as opposed to the customary champagne.
The clip concludes with Malone leading his players in a cheer that emphasizes the word “family.”
Denver resumes their quest for the top seed in the West, Thursday night at Washington.
