Below is iFolloSports.com original video of Rockets rookie center Zhou Qi signing autographs, outside the Loews Minneapolis Hotel, prior to Game 4 of the Rockets vs. Timberwolves first round series at Target Center.
Prior to this season, the now 22-year-old played professionally in his native China, for the Chinese Basketball Association’s Xinjiang Flying Tigers. Zhou played in the league for three seasons, winning the CBA’s 2017 defensive player of the year, along with the 2017 CBA championship.
He is also a member of the Chinese national team.
This season, Zhou played very sparingly for the Rockets, spending most of the year with the club’s G League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
