Rudy Gay Looks 100 Percent After Major Injury (Video)

Rudy Gay recovery from shoulder injury Memphis Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay suffered a significant shoulder injury in the middle of last season, causing him to miss the final 28 games of the regular season, as well as the entirety of Memphis' unexpected postseason run. With no end in sight to the lockout, Grizzlies' team officials and Memphis' fans have not had much of an opportunity to gage the progress of their budding star.

Sunday, Gay took to the court in Long Beach, California on behalf of Washington D.C.'s Goodman League, in a Summer League All-Star rematch against LA's Drew League. Gay looked healthy and spry, showing what appeared to be no remaining ill effects from last season's injury.

Take a look at the below video of Gay breaking down his defender, then driving to the basket and throwing down a powerful dunk. This play was one of the best individual efforts during the Drew League's 151-144 win over Gay's Goodman squad.

If and when the NBA returns to action, the Grizzlies should take the floor with one of their best and brightest young players readily available.

Here is video of Gay's fan friendly nature, as he takes time to sign autographs and interact with fans.
