Rudy Gay's Good Guy Image Keeps Growing (Video)

Rudy Gay is in his sixth NBA season out of UConn. The Grizzlies forward was originally drafted by the Houston Rockets, with the eighth pick in the 2006 draft. He was subsequently traded to the Grizzlies for Shane Battier and Stromile Swift.

Gay has put together a nice career, averaging 17.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. In July of 2010, Memphis rewarded him with a five-year/$82 million contract extension.

Wednesday, Gay took time to sign autographs for fans outside of the Graves 601 Hotel, in downtown Minneapolis, as can be seen on this ifollosports.com original video.

Fans of Rudy Gay can also take a look at this close up ifollosports.com original video, from a summer league game in Long Beach, California, in which Gay was responsible for the high scoring contest's best offensive play. Gay was also seen interacting with fans on that day.
