Snoop Dogg & Tom Izzo Headline Mo Pete Charity Event In Flint (Video)

Recently, the Morris Peterson Jr. Foundation hosted the  “Hoop 4 Water” charity basketball game, with proceeds going to the ongoing water crisis in Peterson’s hometown of Flint, Michigan. The former Michigan State national champ (2000) and 11-year NBA player (2000-2011) was joined by legendary Spartans coach Tom Izzo, former MSU teammate Mateen Cleaves, Lions TE Eric Ebron, boxer Anthony Dirrell, MTV host Sway Calloway, Flint Mayor Karen Weaver and the guest of honor, the one and only Snoop Dogg.

iFolloSports.com Michigan correspondent Lance Martinez and Eric Woodyard from the Flint Journal and MLive provide full video coverage of the event, which took place at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center.

The second video clip showcases a joint press conference held by Peterson and Snoop. In the 11-minute piece of sound, Snoop discusses a wide range of topics, including the water crisis, receiving the key to the city of Flint and his thoughts on meeting Coach Izzo.
