Stephen Curry Places His North Carolina Home On The Market (Photos)
To say that Warriors icon Stephen Curry is comfortably ensconced in the San Francisco Bay Area would be an understatement. Now in his ninth season with Golden State, the two-time NBA MVP is playing under a brand new five-year/$201 million contract, as his team chases what would be its third world championship in the last four years.
With this level of comfort and security in hand, the Curry family is currently residing in a 10,290-square-foot mansion in the East Bay city of Alamo, California.
Now that the Curry's have fully established their on and off the court life in Northern California, the family has elected to place their North Carolina home on the market for $1.5 million.
Located in the Charlotte suburb of Waxhaw (19 miles from Uptown Charlotte and eight miles from the South Carolina border), the 7,650-square-foot abode was purchased for $1.275 million in 2011.
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom pad features a modern kitchen with island, wine cellar, gym, game room, home theater and four-car garage.
Below is a photographical tour of the home, which sits in a gated community.
