Thunder & Rockets Offer An Extra Array Of Intrigue In Their Series

Thunder 34-7 at home in 2012-13, Rockets 16-25 on road Sunday night, the Western Conference's top seeded, 60-22 Oklahoma City Thunder, play the eighth seeded, 45-37 Houston Rockets, in their first round matchup. The training camp trade, which sent James Harden to the Rockets in exchange for a package highlighted by Kevin Martin, has really added some significant sizzle to this series. With the additions of Harden and Jeremy Lin, the Rockets have suddenly become a very up and coming team.

During the regular season, OKC took two of three games from Houston. The Thunder, who obviously own the home court advantage, bring their stellar 34-7 home record up against the Rockets 16-25 mark, when playing away from the Space City.

The Thunder come in as the heavy favorites to not only win this series, but to win the West as well.
