Tim Duncan Signing For Fans In Motown (Video)

Tim Duncan is the all-world power forward for the San Antonio Spurs, playing in his seventeenth NBA season. Duncan, the first overall selection in the 1997 NBA Draft (out Wake Forest), has completely lived up to billing, making 14 All-Star appearances, winning 2 MVP awards and helping the Spurs to 4 NBA championships.

Just about every year since arriving in San Antonio, the Spurs have found themselves at the top of the league. This season, Duncan is averaging 15.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, with his Spurs sitting at 40-15, second in the Western Conference.

Recently, a Michigan based iFolloSports.com contributor captured the above original video of Duncan, signing autographs before the Spurs played the Pistons, at The Palace of Auburn Hills, outside Detroit. Duncan, who does not always sign when the Spurs leave their road hotel, did so on this evening at the arena.

In the contest that followed, Duncan totaled 11 points and 8 rebounds, in the Spurs 109-100 loss to the Pistons.
