Tyus Jones, Jimmy Butler and Jamal Crawford Spotted At Minnesota High School (Video)
Last weekend, during a Timberwolves off day, Tyus Jones, Jimmy Butler and Jamal Crawford were spotted at a Minnesota high school game involving Jones’ younger brother Tre.
Just like older brother Tyus, Tre Jones will play his college basketball at Duke, after signing with the Durham, North Carolina power in August. Tyus Jones was named the 2015 Final Four Most Outstanding Player, after leading the Blue Devils to that season’s national championship.
In Saturday’s contest, Tre Jones’ Apple Valley High School (MN) squad defeated Minneapolis North High School 81-73, during the Breakdown Boys Tip-Off Classic. In the game, Jones posted 19 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists.
The below video showcases the three NBAers taking in the action, along with highlights of the younger Jones on the court.
The Breakdown Boys Tip-Off Classic was held at Hopkins High School’s Lindbergh Center, located eight miles west of downtown Minneapolis, in the Twin Cities suburb of Minnetonka, Minnesota.
Ironically, Angelica and Taya Wiggins, the sisters of Timberwolves star Andrew Wiggins, both attended Hopkins High School.
