Wall & Nenê With Fans During Wizards Early Season Trips To Detroit (Video)

John Wall signing autographs, Nenê signing autographsIn a downright bizarre quirk of scheduling, the Washington Wizards have paid a visit to the Detroit Pistons, during both the preseason and now very early 2013-14 NBA regular season. In fact, the squad from Our Nation's Capital took the court in The Motor City twice, within the span of just eight days. This quick turnaround allowed hoops fans ample opportunity to mix it up with the suddenly playoff contending Wiz. Now in his forth NBA season, John Wall (former first overall pick) has really come into his own. After averaging 18.5 points and 7.6 assists last season (albeit in just 49 games), the Kentucky alum has upped his game this campaign, tallying 19 points and 8.7 assists per game (entering Wednesday). If he is able to finally keep himself on the court, the now 23-year-old has every chance in the world of becoming an All-Star, for many years to come.

Brazilian born Nenê is already in his twelfth NBA season. The first-ever Brazilian native to be selected in the first round of the NBA draft has put together a very solid career, posting averages of 12.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per contest, with his best years coming as a member of the Denver Nuggets. In 2008-09, the 6'11 big man netted nearly 15 points, while corralling just shy of 8 boards per game (both career highs).
