The Warriors Are A Classy Group Of Athletes (Videos)

Stephen Curry signing autographs, David Lee signing autographsAs the NBA season marches to its regular season conclusion, without question, one of the biggest and most unexpected surprises has been the play of the Golden State Warriors. Entering Wednesday's season-ending game, versus the Portland Trail Blazers, the Oakland based franchise possesses a 46-35 record, placing them sixth in the Western Conference. Not bad for a team that has managed to miss the playoffs during 17 of the last 18 years (last qualified in 2006-2007).

In addition to the upstart squad's entertaining style of basketball, one of Golden State's most unique characteristics involves the way in which they interact with fans. From stars like Stephen Curry and David Lee, to head coach Mark Jackson, the Warriors continually present themselves in an incredibly likeable manner. The latest example of this situation took place last week in Los Angeles.

Below are a series of original videos showcasing the team's willingness to sign autographs and pose for photos with folks gathered outside the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. This property serves as the Warriors most common lodging location of choice, when visiting LA.

Stephen Curry (team leader in scoring, assists and steals) providing fans with a couple minutes of time, prior to his 47-point performace against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Second-year head coach Mark Jackson was right at home in LA, considering that he's been a longtime resident of nearby Calabasas, located 24 miles northwest of the hotel.

Second-year guard/forward Klay Thompson also feels a level of comfort in Southern California. The son of former NBA center Mychal Thompson grew up in the Orange County city of Rancho Santa Margarita, situated 64 miles south of Beverly Hills.

Now in his 12th NBA season, Richard Jefferson put in some time with fans, before boarding the team's charter bus.

The Warriors effort with followers of the NBA has not been limited to just the West Coast. Check out this original video clip of Curry signing autographs, earlier this season in Minneapolis.

Star forward David Lee has also gotten into the act. Here is original video and an original photo of the Florida alum doing his thing with fans. Like the above Curry clip, both of these occurrences also took place in downtown Minneapolis.
