Warriors Superstar Kevin Durant Signing In Detroit | Photo
Lance Martinez of My Detroit Sports gathered this original photo of Warriors superstar Kevin Durant signing autographs at the Pistons and Red Wings new home venue, Little Caesars Arena, in midtown Detroit.
Durant is widely considered to be the second or third best player in the NBA, behind LeBron James and maybe teammate Steph Curry. In fact, some observers believe that Durant is already the best or soon will be. The Washington D.C. area native is an eight-time All-Star, 2014 NBA MVP and 2017 NBA Finals MVP.
In addition, the now 29-year-old has led the NBA in scoring on four occasions.
Many basketball fans still lament Durant’s controversial decision to leave the Thunder and join the Warriors, during the summer of 2016. Despite this scenario, the Texas alum still remains one of the game’s most popular players. As a result, a KD autograph remains a big deal.
Wednesday night, Durant became the second youngest player in league history to score 20,000 points. Only the aforementioned James achieved this level sooner, though eight players reached the milestone is less games.
