Wolves Rookie Josh Okogie Kicking Back In His Las Vegas Hotel Room (Video)
Last month, the Minnesota Timberwolves selected Josh Okogie with the 20th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. The 19-year-old played two seasons at Georgia Tech, averaging 16.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game, for the Atlanta based program.
Okogie attended high school in the Atlanta suburb of Snellville, after he and his family immigrated to the US from Nigeria.
Like most recent draftees, the 6’5 guard/forward is currently in Las Vegas, taking part in the 2018 Las Vegas NBA Summer League.
The below video shows Okogie back in his hotel room, at the Wynn Las Vegas, playing the game “Fortnite” while speaking about his style of play, along with his love of both wings and shoes.
Minnesota hopes Okogie’s athleticism and defensive intensity will provide a boost to the team’s underperforming bench, which was very much a weak spot last season.
"This is something I've always dreamed of, so I'm gonna give it my all. Minnesota is gonna have my all."
