Bill Self Taking In AAU Event (Video)

Bill Self is the highly successful head coach of the Kansas Jayhawks. Prior to joining Kansas, Self climbed the coaching ladder, with stops at Oral Roberts, Tulsa and Illinois. In 2003, Self was hired by KU, replacing current North Carolina Tar Heels coach Roy Williams.

Since his arrival in Lawrence, Self has won five Big 12 Tournament titles. His biggest achievement took place in 2008, when Kansas defeated John Calipari's Memphis squad, led by future NBA superstar Derrick Rose, in a classic national championship game.

This past season, Self guided Kansas to a second NCAA championship game, but this time the Jayhawks lost to a heavily favored John Calipari coached Kentucky team.

Self's accomplishments have placed him on the list of the top college coaches in the country.

Saturday, Self  was on hand at an Elite Youth Basketball League event, held at High Performance Academy, in the Twin Cities suburb of Eagan, Minnesota.

Above is iFolloSports.com original video of Self watching one of the games, just before he began conversing with Kansas legend and new Tulsa coach Danny Manning.

Per these additional iFolloSports.com original video clips and photo, other national championship winning coaches present included Duke's Mike Krzyzewski, Michigan State's Tom Izzo and Syracuse's Jim Boeheim.

Calipari and Williams were also in attendance during the three-day event.
