Gonzaga Coach Mark Few Is Living The Life In Low Key Spokane
Monday night, Mark Few leads his Gonzaga Bulldogs in a showdown against the mighty North Carolina Tar Heels, in the 2017 national championship game, held at University of Phoenix Stadium, in Glendale, Arizona. Few is seeking his school’s first ever national title. Gonzaga’s quest for number one comes in stark contrast to UNC, who just so happens to be the owner of five NCAA crowns.
For those of you who do not know, Gonzaga is a Catholic university of 7,300 total students, located in Spokane, Washington.
The 54-year-old Few has built quite the life in the northeastern Washington city of 200,000, after spending 28 consecutive seasons on the sidelines, including the last 18 as the Bulldogs head coach.
When not running the show at the 6,000-seat McCarthey Athletic Center, Few, his wife and four children call a 4,600-square-foot Spokane abode home. The sprawling property, which sits on 31 acres of lush Washington State land, comes equipped with five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a large infinity swimming pool, which features a view of the Spokane skyline.
Below is an aerial look at the property, as well as a ground level glimpse of the home’s gated entrance.
The Few pad sits seven miles south of the Gonzaga campus, five miles south of downtown Spokane and 25 miles west of the Idaho state line.
At an annual salary of $1.6 million, the Creswell, Oregon native and Pacific Northwest lifer appears to be in no hurry to leave his rather idyllic life.
