The Michigan State Spartans Leaving A Detroit Hotel Before NCAA Loss (Video)
Last weekend, in the second round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament, the three seeded Michigan State Spartans were upset by the 11 seeded Syracuse Orange, 55-53, at the brand new Little Caesars Arena, in midtown Detroit.
Despite playing their opening weekend games only 81 miles from the school’s East Lansing, Michigan campus, the Spartans' dream of winning the program’s first national championship since 2000 were dashed by Jim Boeheim and the Cuse.
Lance Martinez of My Detroit Sports provides up close original video of the entire MSU squad, including hall of fame coach Tom Izzo, as the team boarded their awaiting charter bus, outside a downtown Detroit hotel, in the hours prior to the day’s disappointing defeat.
