Underdogs Rule In Salt Lake & Dallas

defeat Cowboys 34-30We had a snazzy 2-0 record this weekend in Upset Alerts, not only covering the point spread, but also scoring the upsets. 

In Salt Lake City, the Washington Huskies, an eight-point underdog, routed Utah 31-14. The Huskies led only 10-7 at halftime, but Utah committed five turnovers as Washington won in a romp, ruining Utah's first Pac-12 home game.

Detroit came from way back to destroy Dallas' day by edging the Cowboys 34-30 as a 1.5-point dog. The Lions trailed by 24 points in the third quarter, but overcame Dallas by returning two of Tony Romo's passes for touchdowns.

Season record is now 5-3-1.
