The Alabama Football Practice Facility Is Simply Incredible | Videos
Earlier this week, the Alabama Crimson Tide won their 17th claimed national title and fifth in the last nine years.
One of the areas that separates Alabama from other schools, when it comes to success on the gridiron, is the quality of its football facilities. While the team plays home games at venerable Bryant-Denny Stadium, the vast majority of the program’s time is spent 0.7 miles east of their mammoth 102,000-seat home field.
Alabama’s football operation is headquartered inside the Mal M. Moore Athletic Facility. The building is home to the Tide’s locker-room, training room, meeting spaces, player lounges and coaches’ offices.
The adjoining nearly 40,000-square-foot Alabama Strength and Conditioning Center is the setting for one of the largest university weight training complexes in the country.
Attached to the Alabama Strength and Conditioning Center is the nearly 100,000-square-foot Hank Crisp Indoor Facility, the school’s state-of-the-art indoor field. The Alabama indoor practice facility is a sight to behold.
Just behind these structures sits the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields, which include three full-length football fields, as well as a 100-yard artificial turf playing surface.
