Above is iFolloSports.com original video of Stanford Cardinal head football coach David Shaw, minutes after his team wrapped up their Rose Bowl Media Day session on Tuesday. The event was held at The L.A. Downtown Hotel, the Rose Bowl’s media headquarter location.
The 43-year-old Stanford alum has put together an unbelievable stretch of football, since taking over for Jim Harbaugh in 2011. In his 5 seasons at the helm of his alma mater, Shaw has posted a 53-14 record, while winning the Pac-12 on 3 occasions.
Friday marks Shaw’s third Rose Bowl appearance and fourth College Football Playoff bowl game (formerly known as the BCS), as he also led the Cardinal to the Fiesta Bowl in his first season.
