A List Of Our Favorite College Football Coach First Names

Wednesday, iFolloSports.com created a list of our favorite college football names from this season. Since there are so many amazing monikers, throughout the NCAA landscape, columnist Bruce Tenen only had enough room to highlight those on the offensive side of the ball.

“Big name” defensive players will take their rightful place later this month.

Not to be outdone by those who suit up and take the field each week, iFolloSports thought it would be fun to create a list featuring some of the most unusual first names of Division I head football coaches. While the majority of these first names are in fact nicknames, the nicknames are what they go by, whether it is in school media guides, or when mentioned in news coverage.

The wackiness of college football never ceases to amaze!
