Lincoln Riley at Rose Bowl Media DayAbove is iFolloSports.com original video of 34-year-old Oklahoma Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley coming down the escalator at the LA Downtown Hotel, shortly after the conclusion of OU’s appearance at 2018 Rose Bowl media day.

This video shows Baker Mayfield and his Sooner teammates departing media day, a few minutes ahead of Coach Riley.

In his first season as OU head coach, Riley amassed a 12-1 record, with a college football playoff selection. Riley became the school’s offensive coordinator in 2015, becoming the program’s leader two years later, upon the retirement of longtime sideline man Bob Stoops.

The Lubbock, Texas native played QB for one season at his hometown Texas Tech, before becoming the football program’s student assistant. After graduating from undergrad, Riley became the Red Raiders graduate assistant and then the team’s wide receivers coach.

Riley arrived in Norman (OK) after a five-season stint on the East Carolina coaching staff.
