The Oregon Ducks Football Complex Is Beyond Amazing (Video & Photos)

Oregon Ducks football practice facility Hatfield-Dowlin ComplexSaturday, college football's marquee matchup features No. 7 Michigan State traveling to No. 3 Oregon.  After eclipsing 10 victories, in each of the last 6 seasons, the Ducks have cemented themselves as one of the nation's top programs. Due in large measure to the Eugene, Oregon school's close allegiance to Beaverton, Oregon based Nike, the former mediocre West Coast program now stands as one of the more attractive college football brands around.

Prior to last season, the “University of Nike” debuted by far its most impressive athletic edifice, courtesy of Nike founder and Oregon alum Phil Knight.

Below is a Sports Illustrated video tour of the 145,000-square-foot Hatfield-Dowlin Complex.

The incredible $138 million facility features perhaps the most advanced, high tech athletic training complex in the entire world. Amenities include three fields, a spacious, technology outfitted locker-room, 25,000-square-foot weight room, 170-seat theater, barber shop, cafeteria, player lounges, coaches' offices, as well as private coaching staff meeting spaces, cleverly known as the “War Room” and “Area 51.”

As one would imagine, the Ducks' signature green and yellow colors are present throughout the structure, with much of the design looking as if it came straight out of the future.
