Saturday's Game Involves More Than One Rivalry

Saban and Miles are 2-2 against each otherDuring Saturday night's big matchup between SEC rivals, No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Alabama, there is an additional rivalry to consider, involving the two men roaming the sidelines.

Alabama coach Nick Saban is coaching against his former team LSU, who is of course coached by Les Miles. Saban had an excellent run at LSU from 2000-2004, winning a share of the BCS championship in 2003, along with USC.

Saban was revered in Baton Rouge, before leaving to coach the Miami Dolphins in 2005. After only two seasons in the pros, Saban returned to college to lead bitter SEC rival Alabama. Since then, the LSU faithful has despised Saban, even though LSU has been very successful under Miles, winning the 2007 BCS championship.

Saturday will already be the fifth time that Saban has faced his former team. To this point, Saban and Miles are 2-2 against each other.
