The SEC Continues To Be A Factory Of NFL Talent

As the much anticipated 2018 NFL Draft finally gets underway Thursday night, at 8:00ET/5:00PT, from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, there exists so many big storylines, including the five or six quarterbacks that could go in the first round, along with the potential destinations of impact players like Saquon Barkley, Bradley Chubb and Quenton Nelson.

ESPN provides another interesting nugget regarding which schools have produced the most draft picks, during the last 10 years.

Alabama and LSU each have 65 players

USC - 62

Ohio State - 56

Florida - 55

With three of the top five coming from the SEC, it once again shows the stranglehold the conference has on college football, while also expressing the greatness of these other (non SEC) blue blood programs.

Coming off their sixth national title, in the last nine years, Alabama could add a whopping 13 players to this list. Nick Saban has created an NFL factory, since arriving to the Tuscaloosa campus in 2007.
