Stanford & UCLA Battle For The Second Time In Six Days
By Ryan Rapoport
Friday night, the 10-2 Stanford Cardinal host the 9-3 UCLA Bruins in Palo Alto, for the Pac-12 championship. Stanford comes into this contest on a six-game winning streak, while UCLA enters winners of five out of its last six.
Last Saturday, Stanford beat UCLA 35-17, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena (CA).
Ironically, a trip to the 99th Rose Bowl Game, on New Year's Day, is at stake in Friday's rematch.
Stanford is looking to return to “The Granddaddy of Them All” for the first time since 2000, with UCLA vying for a return to its home stadium classic for the first time since 1999.
With Stanford playing at home and having already beat UCLA, USC, Oregon State and Oregon this season, the Cardinal definitely enter this matchup with the clear edge.
